Design
Alexei began working as a graphic designer while employed at the Faculty Technology Center(FTC) at NYU in 2001. The FTC helped faculty and departments incorporate technology into their teaching and research. Alexei designed websites for language programs, dance studios, NYU's Dental school and the FTC site. Alexei also developed interactive Flash applications, designed brochures and posters for NYU events and filmed and edited videos for NYU and affiliate institutions. It was during this time that Alexei developed a relationship with the Hemispheric Institute of Performance and Politics (HEMI) where he continues to work as a designed and technology advisor. Alexei has helped develop several graduate student "Cuadernos" which can be seen here.
